Detained Reuters photographer released in Zimbabwe
A Reuters photographer was held in jail for three days in Zimbabwe for allegedly using a satellite phone to send pictures. Howard Burditt, a Zimbabwean national arrested while covering the aftermath of the country's elections, was freed on bail after a protest from Reuters.
Late Aswat al-Iraq correspondent honoured with journalism award
Sahar al-Haideri, a journalist with Aswat al-Iraq who was killed in the Iraqi city of Mosul in June 2007, has been awarded the Kurt Schork journalism award.
